The August 30th story is a reminder that we can bring hope to children. John Stoefller, a Korean vet, wrote a patriotic column for his local paper in Missouri. One day he thought about the words he spoke to a group where he urged people to support the living. An idea came to him to help children of active duty military with pillows containing the photo of the deployed parent. He launched his ministry, “Sweet Dreams Picture Pillow Project” that has brought comfort to thousands of children.
We need to act on the positive ideas we get and reach out to help little ones, especially those who feel the loss of an absent parent.
